Cueva Del Carro Renovations 2010
The well made track leading up to the cave, no need for a 4x4

Renovations begin on the cave...

The walls are prepared and first stage electrics are fitted

The first coat of plaster is sprayed onto the walls

Wiring is installed, floors are put in, then the tiles are laid

The guest Kitchen starts to take shape

Doors and windows are fitted - work begins on the power room

A huge woodburner with integrated oven
is installed in the front Sitting Room

The power room (or Casita - little house!) is finished.
Now we just need the Electrician over to fit the
Solar/Generator/Battery installation!

The outside area is cleared and a patio and gravel are laid.

Rocky and Ginger join us! Two more hens are on their way.

Cars can drive right up to the front door.
The guest shower room is finally finished.

The guest kitchen/diner is set up, fitted out and checked.
A bedroom is ready and the first guests arrives - mid September 2010.
There is still a lot more to do, but we are getting there...

The entrance is now gravelled and the gates get a coat of paint.
The Power Room gets a touch of colour and more shade sails are put up.

Bracken and Fern join Rocky and Ginger - Fern is camera shy though!

The night skies can be truly amazing especially as there is no light pollution here.

The woodburner is uncovered and some comfortable chairs complete the Sitting Room.

The middle bedroom is finished.
